About Us

The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is committed to providing the highest quality surgical and interventional care for the broad spectrum of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. The Complex Aortic Disease treatment program offers the latest minimally invasive treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) and aortic dissections, including fenestrated and branched endovascular repairs.

We offer both open and minimally invasive approaches to carotid artery stenosis and stroke (endarterectomy, carotid stent and transcervical carotid artery revascularization, TCAR), peripheral arterial diseases and limb ischemia (bypass and peripheral angioplasty or stenting), and peripheral venous disease (saphenous vein ablation and central vein recanalization). We also are committed to our dialysis center access practice and serve as a referral center for advanced hemodialysis needs.

Active clinical trials bring cutting-edge technology to our patients, including BEST endovascular vs. open treatment of peripheral artery disease (NIH trial) and polymer based treatment of AAA disease with NELLIX and ALTO FDA-sponsored investigational device trials. We are dedicated to our mission to train the next generation of vascular surgeons, with mentorship of medical students and residents, and the training of our two vascular surgery fellows.
