About Us
The Division of Surgical Oncology is at the forefront of treatment for patients with GI stromal tumor, hepatobiliary-pancreatic, and peritoneal malignancies. Our faculty are active in basic and clinical research, funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute, the Veteran's Administration and Stand Up to Cancer, among others. Most of these studies use molecularly targeted or other novel therapeutics not offered anywhere else in the nation.
