The fund is administered by the Department Chair to use at his or her discretion to support the research, educational, and clinical programs that need it most.

The Department of Surgery is deeply committed to educating surgeons of the future. The department offers fully accredited academic residency and fellowship training programs in a number of surgical specialties.
