Our lab provides a multidisciplinary training environment for defining mechanisms of immune surveillance and tissue repair to develop therapeutics. The concept of cancer as a wound that doesn’t heal is the foundation of our tumor immunology program and cutaneous wound healing program. Our lab is located in the Altman Clinical Translational Research Institute, with Brian Eliceiri, Ph.D., having a dual appointment in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Dermatology. We focus on training Ph.D. post-doctoral fellows and resident surgeons and partner with junior faculty for mentorship opportunities.
