I have a strong academic interest in the molecular underpinnings of chronic pulmonary emboli and training at UCSD afforded me the opportunity to learn about treating CTEPH at the institution which pioneered pulmonary thromboendarterectomies. What do you like about San Diego? My family loves San Diego! There are a lot of opportunities to do fun activities both in and out of town, and importantly, it’s very easy to get from place to place. We love taking our dog (Rocket; golden retriever) to the ample number of beaches and parks which are easily accessible. Finally, the weather is fantastic year-round!
