Dr. Santiago Horgan is an internationally recognized expert in robot-assisted surgery; a pioneer in the surgical treatment of morbid obesity; a specialist in surgery and physiology of the esophagus; and a leader in the emerging field of Natural Orifice Translumenal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES). As director of the CFS, Dr. Horgan works with colleagues to advance surgical care techniques by investigating, developing, testing, and teaching procedures that will revolutionize the field of surgery.
