Opportunities

Anatomy Facilitator

Are you willing and available to assist the incoming first-year medical students with their mastery of human anatomy by dissection? This year’s Anatomy course at the School of Medicine will feature 31 labs and 4 exams over 25 weeks. These events will take place on Thursday mornings (highlighted in blue in the calendar below) except for two solid weeks of Anatomy during MSK Block. As in the past we will rely on a small army of enthusiastic assistants to facilitate labs, review sessions and exams.

Our new Anatomy Chief, Dr. Geoff Noel, has revitalized the Thread to emphasize compassion & empathy, surgical applications and independent preparation.

Time commitment: 2–4 hrs per session
Qualifications: Clinical training and/or previous experience with dissection
