Surgery Interest Group Labs: Faculty-led sessions that introduce students to surgical specialties and explore career interests
Navigating the OR: An in- depth tour of the simulation operating rooms where students learn to operate surgical lights, boom equipment, and prepare the operating room for surgery
Resident Transition Course: A skills-based course for graduating medical students entering residency, offering sessions that build procedural familiarity in specialties such as Obstetrics & Gynecology, Interventional Radiology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, ENT, Trauma Surgery, and Robotic Surgery to prepare students for their intern year
Perioperative Labs: Training in PPE application, instrument identification, surgical scrubbing, and simulated laparoscopic procedures
Weekly Skills Labs: Hands-on sessions focused on core surgical techniques and procedural proficiency
Specialty Joint Labs: Interdisciplinary sessions conducted in collaboration with multiple surgical subspecialties, designed to teach teamwork and effective communication in the operating room
Robotic Surgery Labs: Trainings dedicated to developing competence in robotic-assisted surgical techniques
Visiting Professor Workshops: Advanced sessions led by nationally and internationally recognized surgical leaders
Surgical Bootcamps: Intensive training programs led by expert physicians that develop surgical skills, introduce diverse techniques and approaches, and familiarize participants with cutting-edge medical equipment
