San Diego Wild Animal Park
The Wild Animal Park houses a large array of wild and endangered animals including species from the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The park is in a semi-arid environment, based around Nairobi village in Kenya, and one of its most notable features is the Journey into Africa tram which explores the expansive African exhibits. The park is also noted for its California condor breeding program, the most successful program in the country.
SeaWorld San Diego is one of the world's premier marine adventure parks with 200 acres of world-class shows, thrilling rides, and unforgettable animal encounters.

The 2005 and 2006 National League Western Division Champions play at Petco Park in downtown San Diego. Tickets are affordable and offer a great night out.
San Diego Chargers
The champions of the AFC Western Conference in 2004, 2006, and 2007, the Chargers are one of the premier teams in the NFL with some of the most exciting players in the league. Their home is Qualcomm stadium located in the heart of San Diego.
The biggest comic and movie convention in the world takes place annually at the San Diego Convention Center. With a large repertoire of comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, video games manga, anime, animation, fantasy novels, toys, collectible card games, and much more to showcase, it's no wonder why over 130,000 people attended the event in 2012.
San Diego also has many fairs and events including the San Diego County Fair, world class horse racing at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Street Scene in Downtown San Diego, an annual Chinese New Year Fair and Cinco De Mayo Festival, and various beach festivals.
