A team of visitors arrived at the Bloom Conference room, Department of Surgery at approximately 10:00 am to receive a warm welcome from Raul Coimbra, MD, PhD, Chief of Trauma Division and Mark Talamini, MD, Chairman of Surgery.
The team of visitors was divided into two groups before touring the Medical Center. First group was escorted by Dr. Raul Coimbra. Top left: Emergency Room, top right: Trauma Resus Room, bottom: Radiology
Second group was led by one of our trauma surgeons Dr. Leslie Koyabashi, Assistant Professor. Both groups showed up at the trauma bay almost the same time.
Our visitors were presented with up-to-date trauma resus protocols by Dr. Coimbra, MD (top left), Patricia Stout, RN (top right) and Dr. Bruce Potenza, MD, Director of Burn Surgery.

On the following day, a team of visitors continued to engage in the meeting with our faculty related to health care systems.
