There are UCSD online tools for finding potential collaborators on the UCSD faculty and staff as well as resources that may be available to an investigator.
Through the UCSD Faculty Expertise and Research Interests Search, you may find other UCSD researchers whose interests and/or resources may present opportunities for collaboration in the projects you are planning. Note that this database may not be a comprehensive list, as it is compiled via a Web search engine that reviews faculty web sites, and not all research interests/facilities may be documented online at this time.
UCSD has a new research tool in development with the Community of Science. On the UCSD/COS Expertise Search web page, you may search by investigator name, school, expertise, positions, qualifications, patents, and other attributes. Again, because this is a new database, it may not yet contain complete information about all UCSD researchers.
